Disco Segreta is proud to present the first release of its sub-label GLOSSY, entirely dedicated to contemporary dance productions. The label first catalogue number GL01 is titled “E’ Festa” and is sung by Sardinian singer Angela Colombino (b. Sassari, 1987). Composed shortly before the first pandemic lockdown, "E' Festa" saw Colombino accept the challenge of trying her hand for the first time at an unusual repertoire to her, that of dance music, in a game of mirrors alternating a syncopated rhythm with deliberately dramatic lyrics. "E' Festa" is the only non entirely instrumental track appearing on the soundtrack of "Tutti I Cani Muoiono Soli", debut movie of director Paolo Pisanu (b. Sassari, 1984), recently premiered at Bifest 2023. The movie is an all-existential drama centred on Rudi, a small-time neighbourhood criminal torn between his petty racket and the return into his life of his daughter Susanna.
Showing an unprecedentedly cold and inhospitable Sardinia, the city of 'Tutti i cani muoiono soli' stretches across an urban space to more anonymous suburbs, theatres of most of Rudi's shady affairs. The all-inland touristic in summer vs. empty in winter Platamona turns into an alienating 'non-place’, with its constantly dark sea and livid color palette.
The movie won the 2018 Solinas Prize for best film screenplay, written by Gianni Tetti, a novelist nominated for the Strega Prize in 2017 and the “Gabriele Ferzetti Award” for Best Actor in a Leading Role to Orlando Angius at Bi Fest 2023.

A1 Radio edit.
A2 Marcello Giordani remix.
Marcello Giordani (b. Parma, 1976) is among the key figures of the current Italian Disco scene, both with his blog "Italo Deviance" and as part of the duo Marvin&Guy. Giordani transforms the track into a dark and acid journey halfway between the 80s sound of Italo-disco and the productions of Giorgio Moroder and Patrick Cowley from the 70s, thanks to the hypnotizing use of a TB 303 layered on hammering lines of Juno 106, Arp Odyssey, Korg Poly 800 topped by the sexiest cowbell.

B2 Coke Beats remix
Coke Beats is an italian musician and producer (b. Genoa, 1978).
Coke Beats is already a household name in the dance scene abroad for many years now and - apart from becoming a sensation on Tik Tok with over 1.5+ billion streams - can boast a plethora of collaborations with artists such as Aphex Twin, Goldie and Michael Brecker. He turns 'E' Festa' into a real techno grenade, paying homage to the early German techno productions of the 1990s: unmistakable high bpm kick drum and the use of vocal parts as an additional rhythmic element.
